Repowering projects may raise questions about the dismantling phase of the wind farm.
- What do I do with all the material?
- Will there be a designated space to store these types of items?
- How much will it cost?
Will the turbines be safe and properly maintained?
If we do not answer these questions before the start of the project, they will end up as scrap metal, with the economic loss that this entails.
Enough time must be allowed to carry out the three main phases:
- Transport.
- Storage.
- Sale of spare parts or complete turbines.
Storage is key, as few of us have the capacity to handle and store them. At Aditae, we have a 10,000 m² workshop and cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 100 tonnes.
Selling requires market knowledge for each brand, model and condition of the turbine.
